Colton was born September 24, 1989 in Salt Lake City Utah. Freestyle bmx found him his freshman year of high school in Pocatello Idaho where he grew up. As fate would have it he grew up close to Josh Hult, Dew Tour dirt champion, who eventually got him into big dirt jumping as well as pro contests and shows worldwide.

Since then he moved back to his birthplace in Utah. It's a very good place to ride and train for contests, offering so much to ride as well as a ton of riders in the area. Not to mention, many great legends in bmx also call Utah their home.

He considers myself mainly a dirt rider, he loves huge jumps, going fast and just flowing the big style jumps. He has competed mainly in dirt contests and it is definately his favorite. However, he have put a lot of time and effort into park riding and will be riding them a lot as well.

As far as contests go he loves them. They are always a good time and he loves the big trick and pure style of riding that goes with them. Last year he did very well in the big pro contests that he rode in. One of many highlights of last season was qualifying for Dew Tour and then following it up with two finals appearances on national tv. As well as doing very well in a lot of other big contests such as ASA.

Last year alone was a dream come true for Colton but mainly it pushed him harder to be the best. I'm very competitive and want to do what it takes to win. After his sucess of last year he has been invited to many more as well as larger contests for this year so he's very siked to have a good time riding and doing his best at the contests throughout this year!"
